I am passionate about teaching English Learners and about working with students who are struggling for any reason. I work closely with teachers to improve literacy instruction (both reading and writing) providing guidance in student engagement and simple successful teaching strategies. Sharon Zinke and I have had real success, raising literacy and learning, when teachers adopt some or all of the strategies we present.
