Ms. Lizarraga has 25 years of teaching primary students. Twenty of those years have been in a bilingual setting using various program models. She has spent 15 years in a dual immersion model that for the past four years has been in a 50/50 model that require a Spanish Language Development component for second language learners of Spanish. She has developed strategies and instructional practices that help students acquire listening and speaking skills as they develop their comprehension and vocabulary.
